The Luga Clan: Sagay Reunion 2012


The Organizer of the 2012 Sagay Clan Reunion for the Luga Clan Family members in the Visayas wishes to thank the family of Emmanuel Hojilla Luga for spearheading preparation and the ground operations, which led to the successful celebration of the “Sagay Experience: The 2012 Luga Clan Reunion in Visayas”, is dedicated in honor of the 2012 Graduates of the Luga Clan and those who were given Special Awards for their accomplishments worthy to be emulated by clan member graduates for this year.

The reunion was a concerted effort of the members of the Luga Clan who devoted their time, talent, materials and monetary support for its success. The Album depicting the roots of the Luga Clan from General Mateo Noriel Luga up to the 5th generation was especially designed from Canada by a computer programmer whose roots is a Luga. The photograph, picture frame and written accounts of awardees' accomplishments was especially designed by an international cyber advocate, digital photographer/artist, social media site designer and writer, who is also member of the Luga Clan. The T-shirt was especially designed by an Art Instructor in Silliman University, also a Luga Clan member. The trophy was especially designed and made of materials from Tumauini, its brick, root of the Narra Tree and the base made from the hardest wood was hand crafted and designed by Engr. Tony Luga directly from Tumauini, Isabela, symbolizes the strength of the Luga Clan for generations.
Special mention to Mr. and Mrs. Mary Jane Javellosa and Erwin H. Luga of Barrio Bato, Sagay, Negros Oriental and Emmanuel “Toto” H. Luga, the ground operators. Mary Jane Javellosa is the Grand Child of Narciso Javellosa Sr., the patriarch of the Javellosa Clan of Sagay, Negros Occidental.
